Mangaluru: The Jet airways flight bound to Mangaluru from Kempegowda International airport on Wednesday morning had to return to the airport soon after departure on detecting smoke in the cabin.
With the timely decision a possible untoward incident has been averted and as many as 65 passengers and four crew members are safe, said statement from Jet airways on Twitter.
The flight 9W 2839 BLR-IXE had an emergency landing and with precautionary evacuation all the passengers and crew are safe.
