Bengaluru: Looks like the BJP has already set the tone for upcoming polls. Addressing a public meet in Hubballi, Uttara Pradesh CM Yogi Adithyanath told the voters that they have to now make a choice between Tipu Sulthan and Lord Hanuman.
“The ruling Congress party at the state is against the Hindus and Hinduism. The voters have to teach the Congress a lesson in the upcoming polls,” said Indian’s first monk CM adding that ‘Congress-free India’ has to be achieved.
CM Siddaramaiah retorts
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who is touring the northern districts of the state, responding to statements of the UP CM said that he was much better a Hindu than Yogi.
“Does the BJP own Hinduism and are the BJP leaders only Hindus? My name is Siddaramaiah, it has both Sidda and Rama in it. We are also Hindus. But, we respect all religions unlike the BJP. We treat all of them equally. This is our culture. This is real Hindutva,” he said alleging that the BJP is encouraging radical elements for political gains.
