Bengaluru: In the multi-thousand crores IMA scam, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered FIRs against DC of Bengaluru Urban BM Vijayashankar, Assistant Commissioner LC Nagaraj and Village Accountant Manjunath.
It has been alleged that Manjunath worked as the middleman between the senior officials and collected money from the IMA directors to pay the bribe. Both Vijaya Shankar and Nagaraj are facing the charges of taking bribe to allow the IMA to function without valid documents and permissions.
This is the third FIR registered by CBI in this case.
