Bengaluru: The JDS is expected to drop three ministers from the cabinet to make way for new faces.
According to the sources, CM HD Kumaraswamy and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda are considering the proposal of replacing horticulture minister MC Managoli, tourism minister S R Mahesh and minor irrigation minister CS Puttaraju.
MC Manogoli is now 80-years-old. He is not able to travel across the state. “He met Deve Gowda on Wednesday night and discussed about his political future,” said JDS sources.
“CS Puttaraju and SR Mahesh are now under the line of fire by Anitha Kumaraswamy and Nikhil Kumaraswamy. So party belives that their service is not required as they failed to ensure the victory of Nikhil in Mandya,” said sources.
