Bengaluru:The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) is likely to announce new power tariff today.
According to the sources in the state energy department, the power tariff is likely to go up by 30 to 50 paisa per unit for domestic consumption.
“We are expecting an announcement in this regard by the KERC today,” explained an officer from the department.
Meanwhile, the KSRTC and BMTC ticket fares are also expected to go up by 20%. “The proposal is with CM HD Kumaraswamy. He is likely to issue permission soon,” said sources in the state transport department.
