Karnataka Enacts Law to Protect Lawyers from Violence

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Prohibition of Violence against Lawyers Act-2023 has been enacted by the state government to protect lawyers from assault and harassment. The act, which came into force on June 10, prohibits any form of violence against advocates while they are performing their professional duties.
