Bengaluru: Amidst a complete lockdown across the nation, the COVID-19 cases continued to surge in the state on Wednesday. Ten more COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the state on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases to 51.
According to a press release issued by the state health department, three COVID-19 positive patients have recovered fully and have been discharged.
According to the data, the highest number of positive cases (32) were reported from Bengaluru city. This is followed by Dakshina Kannada with five cases and the Chikkaballapura and Kalaburugi districts with three cases each.
“On Wednesday, 10 positive cases were reported, which is the highest for a single day in the state till now,” the authorities said.
“As many as 214 persons are in isolation,” they added.
