Karnataka continues to experience intense rainfall, with the wet spell expected to persist until October 15, 2025, according to weather officials. The (KSNDMC) and India Meteorological Department (IMD) have forecast scattered to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds across several regions of the state.

The city woke up at 6:09 AM, and the day is expected to remain cloudy with intermittent showers. The minimum and maximum temperatures in Bengaluru are likely to hover around 21°C and 28°C, respectively. The sunset is expected at 6:07 PM.

KSNDMC issues seven-day weather outlook

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), KSNDMC wrote,

“Scattered light to moderate rain and isolated heavy rain are likely across the state today, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.”

Districts likely to receive rainfall

According to the IMD, rainfall activity is expected to cover most parts of the state, including:

  • Coastal Karnataka: Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada
  • North Karnataka: Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Vijayapura, Yadgir, Bellary
  • South Interior Karnataka: Bengaluru, Ramanagara, Mandya, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Tumakuru, Kolar
  • Malnad and Central Karnataka: Shivamogga, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, Davangere, Chitradurga, Chikkaballapur, Vijayanagar

Bengaluru forecast

The Bengaluru Meteorological Centre has predicted light to moderate rainfall till October 15, with possible thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds. The temperature on Monday (October 6) is expected to range between 20°C and 28°C, keeping conditions pleasant and cool.
