Kolar: A tragic incident occurred in Kolar where Home Minister G Parameshwara and a close associate of former Speaker Ramesh Kumar, Mr. M Srinivas, were brutally murdered. He was a notable Congress leader and had previously held the position of district panchayat president.
Srinivas came under attack on Hogalere Road, located on the outskirts of Srinivasapura in Kolar district. Following the assault, he was quickly transported to a hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive the injuries. The perpetrators behind this attack remain unidentified. This incident occurred as he was examining the construction progress of a newly built bar on Hogalere Road, situated on the outskirts of Srinivasapura, falling within the jurisdiction of the Srinivasapura police station.
