Kolar: State farmer’s son contests in Australia Council Election

Kolar: Manjunath Hanumantharayappa, who hails from Madanahalli farmer’s family in Kolar Taluk, is contesting the Council Election in Victoria State of Australia.

Manjunath aged 39, the son of late Hanumantharayappa, a farmer from Madanahalli in Kolar taluk, has been living in Melbourne, Australia for the past 15 years and is known for his service programmes.

As many as 40 candidates from the Legislative Council are to be elected to the Upper House of Parliament in the elections to the 88 seats to be held on November 26 in Victoria. Manjunath is contesting as a Liberal party candidate from the South Eastern Metropolitan Region constituency.
