Bengaluru: Although state government announced two days holiday for schools and colleges across the state, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts are spared as the students are not dependent on state run buses.
In a modified order issued from the government said that DCs of the respective districts should take decision on declaring holiday for schools and colleges accordingly to the requirement.
Hence, DCs of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chamrajanagara and others have decided not to declare holiday in said districts.
In districts like Shivamogga and others, the schools and colleges have declared holiday for only one day- July 25
