Bengaluru: The KSRTC has stopped its service from Bengaluru, on Friday after ferrying over 1.08 lakh people in 3,600 buses from April 24.
According to a communication sent by the KSRTC authorities, the move of the Corporation came in considering the fact that the Majestic area falls under the red zones.
No bus will be available to any part of the state from the city.
Starting from April 24, 3,600 buses were operated from the city bus station at Majestic to various parts of the state.
Buses were operated with strict maintenance of social distancing and lockdown norms, informed officials.
“Buses operated from other parts of the state to Bengaluru too will ensure that employees return to the city as lockdown norms are relaxed for many sectors,” added authorities.
