
KSRTC to Run 1,500 Special Buses for Gowri Ganesha Festival
Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced plans to operate 1,500 special buses between Bengaluru and various cities and towns to accommodate travellers during the Gowri Ganesha festival, which will be celebrated on September 7.
The special bus services will be operational from September 5 to 7, departing from Bengaluru to various destinations across the state. On September 8, KSRTC will run return services from different locations back to Bengaluru.
Buses to popular destinations such as Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Mangaluru, and more will depart exclusively from Kempegowda Bus Station, Majestic. Services to Mysuru and surrounding areas will operate from the Mysuru Road Satellite Bus Station, while buses to Tamil Nadu and Kerala will depart from Shanthinagar Bus Station.
KSRTC has also announced that additional buses will be arranged from taluk and district bus stands based on passenger demand.
