Bengaluru: Baadal Nanjundaswamy “moonwalked” into the hearts of the netizens with his unique protest against the potholes in Bengaluru and since then has become an internet sensation.

A few days ago, Nanjundaswamy, an artist from Mysuru, posted a video on social media, where he was seen dressed as an astronaut and walking on the potholes in one of the localities in Bengaluru. The video was an instant hit with the masses and several people have requested him, on social media, to perform the same scene in their localities as well.

Speaking to ANI, Nanjundaswamy said that he was merely trying to highlight the problems faced by Bengalureans on a daily basis.

“There are bad roads everywhere in the city. As residents of Bengaluru, we face a lot of problems. These potholes even cause accidents. This is why I am trying to highlight these issues,” Nanjundaswamy told ANI.

He also mentioned that previously, he had staged similar stunts which got positive results.

Nanjundaswamy said that so far, his experience has been good, however, there have been times when people have threatened him against doing such displays.
