Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a man named Revanna Kumar, reportedly attempted to end his life by jumping off the third floor of Vidhana Soudha here on Monday, June 24.
According to reports, Revanna, a resident of Chikkaballapur district, had also attempted suicide by cutting his wrist and slitting his throat in a bathroom of Vidhana Soudha.
He was later rushed to Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital and is under treatment.
According to Bengaluru Central Deputy Commissioner of Police D Devaraja, Revanna was a librarian and had entered the building at around 1:30 PM. He also said that Revanna was also carrying an appointment letter with him.
The DCP confirmed that Revanna is out of danger and that further investigations were on.
