Bengaluru: Several Minority leaders met with Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Wednesday, September 3, and thanked him for handing over the IMA scam case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
It can be recalled that over 40,000 investors were allegedly duped by I Monetary Advisory (IMA) to the tune of crores of rupees. Most of the investors are from the Muslim community. The main accused in the case, IMA Managing Director Mohammed Mansoor Khan had named several politicians and government officials of corruption in connection with the case.
Then on August 20, the state government handed over the case, which was being investigated by the Special Investigation Team, to the CBI.
