Bengaluru: Veteran leader and former Minister Kagodu Thimmappa is likely to win the next Assembly elections in Sagar, said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Rajanandini Kagodu.
Speaking to mediapersons Rajanandini, who is also the daughter of Kagodu Thimmappa, said on Friday April 1 that her father is determined to serve people. She said that she will ask that the party’s High Command consider him for the next Assembly polls. She also said the foundation named after him has been established. It would conduct blood donations, health check-up camps, and other social welfare activities in the constituency’s rural areas.
Under the guidance of Sirigandha Srinivas Murthy, a documentary on Kagodu Thimmappa’s achievements is also being made in Kannada, Hindi, and English.
