New Summer Special Trains Announced by Indian Railways

Indian Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer season has been arranging summer special trains. On Tuesday, the Railways has announced a few summer special trains and extended service of a few summer special trains.

1. Train No. 08549/08550 Visakhapatnam-SMVT Bengaluru-Visakhapatnam Weekly Express Special will run for 10 trips:

• Train No. 08549 will depart from Visakhapatnam at 13:15 hrs and arrive SMVT Bengaluru at 07:30 hrs the next day.

• Train No. 08550 will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 08:50 hrs and reach Visakhapatnam at 03:10 hrs the next day.

Enroute, the special trains will have stoppages at Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada Jn., Ongole, Nellore, Gudur Jn., Renigunta Jn., Katpadi Jn., Jolarpettai Jn., and Krishnarajapuram stations in both dierections.

2. Train No. 07311/07312 SSS Hubballi-Ahmedabad-SSS Hubballi Weekly Express Special will run for 5 trips:

• Train No. 07311 will depart from SSS Hubballi at 19:30 hrs and reach Ahmedabad at 19:20 hrs the next day.

• Train No. 07312 will depart from Ahmedabad at 21:25 hrs and arrive SSS Hubballi at 19:45 hrs the next day.

Enroute, the special trains will have stoppages at Dharwad, Londa Jn., Belagavi, Ghatprabha, Miraj Jn., Sangli, Satara, Pune Jn., Kalyan Jn., Vasai Road, Boisar, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara and Anand Jn. stations in both dierections.

The special trains will consist of a total of 18 coaches, including 1 AC-2 tier, 2 AC-3 tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class, and 2 Brake Van/Luggage cum differently abled coaches.

1. Extension of summer special train services

The following summer special train services will be extended to clear the extra rush of passengers with the existing composition, stoppage and timings. The details are as follows:

1. Train No. 06563/06564 SMVT Bengaluru-Malda Town-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express special:

2. Train No. 06221/22 Mysuru-Muzaffarpur-Mysuru Weekly Express special:

1. Train No. 06589/06590 earlier notified to run between SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Bi-Weekly Express Special is now been revised to run between SMVT Bengaluru-Bidar with seven trips in each directions:

Train No. 06589 will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 11:00 p.m. and reach Bidar at 12:00 noon journey commencing with effect from 21.04.2024 to 12.05.2024 on the following day with seven trips in each direction.

No changes in the timings of the train between Yelahanka and Shahabad stations. The revised timings of arrival/departure of train at Kalaburagi is (09.00am/09.05am).

In the return direction, Train No. 06590 will depart from Bidar at 2:10 p.m. journey commencing with effect from 22.04.2024 to 13.05.2024 on the following day with nine trips in each direction.

No changes in the timings of the train between Shahabad and Yelahanka stations. The revised timings of arrival/departure of train at Kalaburagi is (05.05pm/05.10pm).

2. Train No. 06597/06598 earlier notified to run between SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Weekly Express Special is now been revised to run between SMVT Bengaluru-Bidar with eight trips in each directions:

Train No. 06597 will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 11:00 p.m. and reach Bidar at 12:00 noon journey commencing with effect from 26.04.2024 to 14.06.2024 on the following day with eight trips in each direction.

No changes in the timings of the train between Yelahanka and Shahabad stations. The revised timings of arrival/departure of train at Kalaburagi is (09.00am/09.05am).

In the return direction, Train No. 06598 will depart from Bidar at 2:10 p.m. journey commencing with effect from 27.04.2024 to 15.06.2024 on the following day with eight trips in each direction.

No changes in the timings of the train between Shahabad and Yelahanka stations. The revised timings of arrival/departure of train at Kalaburagi is (05.05pm/05.10pm).
