Nigerian held for selling cocaine in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The Women and Narcotics wing of the City Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested a Nigerian national for selling cocaine in Bengaluru. The police have identified the arrested person as Kalu Okeh Ude (37) from Ohafia city, Abia state, Nigeria.

According to the police, a team of Women and Narcotics wing of the CCB, after receiving information about selling cocaine on the road adjacent to St. Francis Xavier Girls’ High School compound, nabbed Kalu Okeh Ude while selling cocaine to public. The police have seized nine gms of cocaine, four mobile phones, Rs 2,000 cash and one two-wheeler from the accused person. The police said the accused has confessed that he was getting cocaine at Rs 5,000 per gm from a person in Mumbai and he used to sell it in small quantities to the public in the city.

A case has been registered against the accused at Pulkeshi Nagar police station.
