Ramanagar: Taunting the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, State Water Resource Minister D K Shivakumar said here on Thursday, April 18, that the ‘Modi wave’ was all false and there was nothing like that in any corner of the country.

After casting his vote in Doddalahalli of Kanakapura town with his family, he spoke to the media and said, “There is no ‘Modi wave’ as such. You cannot see it anywhere in the country. Because of PM Modi’s false assurances, the people will not believe him anymore.”

“PM Modi speaks about ‘Acche Din’ and ‘Swachh Bharat’ which is not even evident in his own Varanasi constituency. Moreover, the good time has not come to the people of the country in his tenure”, he taunted.

He opined that the state coalition of Congress and Janata Dal (S) would win over 20 Lok Sabha seats out of 28 and that his brother and coalition candidate D K Suresh from Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency would win with great margin.
