Bengaluru: There is no proposal before the government to provide citizens a third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, IT/BT and Science & Technology Minister C. N. Ashwath Narayan on Friday October 22 said that there is no proposal before State Government with regard to providing third dose of vaccines to citzens.
Speaking to media persons here to bring forth government’s efforts behind vaccination, he said that 83% of the State’s population have been given the first dose and about half of the population have received the second dose. However, there is no plan to give a third dose,” he added and informed that no one has come forward with such proposals to the government.
Minister also lauded the efforts of medicos and frontline workers, who are among many instrumental in making vaccination drives successful.
