Bengaluru: Pallavi Akurathi, Joint Secretary to Government, Department of Personnel & Administrative, Reforms Department (Vigilance) lodged a complaint with the state government against PWD Assistant Engineer by name Girish who didn’t attend her official residence repair works even after a number of calls and letters. The letter has brought a new headache to the state government.
According to the sources, Akurathi who is on maternal leave is staying in PWD quarters in Jeevan Bhima Nagar of the city. In May, she had lodged a complaint with the PWD department authorities with regard to some repair works required in her quarters. But till now the department didn’t attend the repair works compelling her to write a letter.
She alleged that the senior officers asked her to get in touch with the Assistant Engineer Girish, who has been evading her calls.
