Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Karnataka State In-charge, Muralidhar Rao has said, here on Thursday, March 28, that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in the state on April 7 for election campaign and rally.
Addressing the media, he said, “We are confident that the party will bag 25 Lok Sabha seats out of 28 based on the achievements of the central government under the leadership of Modi.”
Rao said that the party’s agenda this time would be based on only national security and development.
Reacting on the I-T raids, he said that it was not politically motivated and that the raids were also conducted on the BJP leaders’ relatives’ houses.
He criticised the Congress and Janata Dal (S) coalition and said, “When the raids were conducted on the BJP leaders we kept quiet but when the same happens with the Congress-JDS leaders, they create a ruckus. I-T raids can happen on any day and at any time.”
Speaking on the Mahagathbandhan agendas and policies, Rao said that it was a ‘percentage’ based government. “It is a confused government and will not be entertained in the Centre”.
He said, “Mahagathbandhan has disappeared in the states like Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal and all their policies have failed miserably.”
Meanwhile, he added that on April 17, PM Modi would be addressing a rally in Mandya.
