PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah to Tour Karnataka from April 20

On April 20, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a public gathering in Bengaluru and Chikkaballapura during his visit to Karnataka, as per V Sunil Kumar, the BJP election management committee state coordinator and state general secretary. The public event in Bengaluru will be held at Palace Grounds, with preparations currently underway. Additionally, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Karnataka on April 23 and 24 to participate in several election campaigns. Shah’s itinerary includes road shows across various parts of Bengaluru on April 23, followed by public meetings in Chikkamagaluru, Tumakuru, and Hubballi on the next day.

According to Kumar, the events on April 23 will commence with a road show in Yeshwantpur, followed by a public meeting in Yelahanka. Later in the day, there will be a road show in the Bommanahalli assembly constituency, followed by another in the Mahadevpura assembly constituency. On April 24, Shah will attend a morning public meeting in Chikkamagaluru, followed by a backward class convention in Tumakuru in the afternoon. In the evening, he will participate in a road show in Hubballi.

Similarly, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is slated to join campaign meetings in Karnataka on April 24. His schedule includes a morning road show in the Rajarajeshwari Nagar assembly constituency, a public meeting in Madikeri in the afternoon, and another public meeting in Malpe, Udupi, in the evening.

BJP National President JP Nadda is expected to visit the state on April 21, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be in Karnataka on April 24, as outlined by Kumar.
