Bengaluru: The ruling Congress has decided to organize a meeting at Nandi Hills to chalk out the plan for the next Assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2018.
If all goes well, the meeting is scheduled to be held during the second week of November at Nandi Hills. Senior Congress leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Dharam Singh, Veerappa Moily, Siddarmaiah, Dr G Parameshwar and others, are expected to attend the meeting to discuss about the preparations for the next Assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2018.
It may be recalled that Congress organized a meeting on October 27 at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru on the occasion of Dr G Parameshwar completing six years as the KPCC president. The objective of the meeting is to discuss about the means and methods to create awareness among the people about the state government’s welfare programmes.
