On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor, opened its doors to the public for a rare viewing. The historic venue will remain accessible to visitors on Monday from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, providing a unique opportunity for citizens to experience its grandeur.

Entry is free, with visitors required to present either their Aadhaar card or another valid photo ID for admission. However, strict security measures have been implemented. Visitors are prohibited from bringing cameras, handbags, sharp objects, snacks, plastic items, or any luggage bags. Additionally, parking will not be permitted inside the premises, as stated by the Chief Minister’s Office.

This event follows a Republic Day exhibition showcasing commemorative stamps and coins at the Bangalore City Institute, adding to the festive atmosphere in the city.
