According to the sources in the state Kannada and Culture department officers, in the event, CM HD Kumaraswamy will give away the awards. DCM Dr G Parameshwar, Kannada and Culture minister Jayamala will be present.

The award winners’ list was announced on Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, the state government will not organise any official event and CM’s speech programme as part of the Rajyotsava event.
