Ramanagara: The Education Department officials have threatened to issue a showcause notice to private school, which has been using school children to earn money through lottery, for the development of an educational institution.
The private school used hundreds of students of the school to sell lottery lucky draw tickets and raise funds to complete the stalled building. Based on the information provided, the Education Coordinator Rudramuni visited the spot and sought information from the school supervisor about the incident as the school had declared holiday on the day.
The incident will be brought to the notice of higher authorities, he informed.
