Bengaluru: Real Star Upendra has tendered his resignation from the Karnataka Prajnavantha Janatha Party (KPJP) on Tuesday, March 6 and announced that he will form a new political party.
Upendra has named his new party ‘Prajakeeya’, which is also his political agenda.
After talks failed between Upendra and KPJP founder Mahesh Gowda, the actor walked out of the meeting and announced his decision. “I have resigned from all the posts of KPJP. I will form a new political party along with the people who support my agenda,” he said.
The meeting was held at Ruppi’s Resort near Ramohalli on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
