RGUHS asks over one lakh students to be ready to serve in case of COVID-19 outbreak

Bengaluru: The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has asked its over one lakh students, including those pursuing medical and para medical courses to be ready to join the fight against the COVID-19 in the event of any outbreak.

In a video message to all the students, university VC S Sachchidananda requested students to be ready to join the call of duty if required.

Meanwhile, the university launched 20 pages booklet on the protocols to be followed while treating the COVID-19 patients.

The University launched online tutorial for the doctors and the para medical staff in this regard.

The university is aiming at training over 25,000 doctors across the state in this regard.

On the day one over 300 doctors were trained via online module, informed sources.
