Sarja-Shruthi case: Cubbon Park police issue notice to witnesses

Bengaluru: After registering a First Information Report (FIR) against actor Arjun Sarja based on the sexual harassment complaint lodged by actress Shruthi Hariharan, the Cubbon Park police have issued a notice to all the witnesses mentioned by the actress in her complaint and directed them to record their statement. The statements of all the witnesses will be recorded on Monday.

“Immediately after registering the FIR, we took Shruthi to UB City, Presidency College, Hebbal and Devanahalli signal where Sarja allegedly made advances. We have completed the mahajar process,” police informed.

“Shruthi will be taken to the court where her statements will be recorded in front of the judge. After recording the statements of the witnesses we will take forward the case,” informed the police.

“DCP D Devraj met city police commission T Sunil Kumar in this regard. A notice will be served to the accused after police collect admissable proofs in the case,” police added.
