Bengaluru: The Phulwama attack has shaken the nation beyond words. While demand for vengeance is being heard from every nook and corner of India, a retired DG Shankar Bidari has made a tweet urging the Prime Minister to give him a chance to take on the terrorists.
“I am 64-years old and I am ready to go to Kashmir if given an appropriate post to put an end to terrorist activities in Kashmir. It doesn’t matter even if I have to sacrifice my life for the sake of erasing terrorism,” reads the tweet, which concludes with the former DG writing his email ID.
The Pulwama attack on Thursday claimed lives of as many as 45 CRPF personnel. A suicide bomber of Jaish-E-Mohommad terror outfit rammed an explosive-laden car into the CRPF vehicle.
The PM had declared that Pakistan will pay a heavy price for the attack.
