Bengaluru: Jagadish Shettar, Leader of the opposition in Legislative Assembly has demanded CBI probe into the diary scam.
A complaint has already been lodged with CBI by one, S Thripuranthaka Murthy for probe into the notings in the diary, which allegedly shows Rs 1000 crore payments made by state Congress leaders to Congress high command, Shettar said and demanded the CBI to conduct an intense probe into the diary controversy.
Shettar wants CBI to subject Govinda Raj to Narco analysis test to end the arguments over the authenticity of the diary seized from his residence.
Terming the diary contents explosive,state opposition parties, BJP in particular has been demanding resignation of Chief Minister and some senior ministers in the Government,ever since the news first appeared in the media.
