Shivamogga: The resentment against the State Government’s recommendation to the Centre for the implementation of internal reservation is continuing in City on Tuesday April 4.

The protest was held at Lakshmipura Thaanda in Taluk by blocking the national highway and burnt tyres and arecanut.

The protesters blocked the Shivamogga – Thirthahalli – Udupi – Mangaluru National Highway. This has led to the anger of the Banjara community in Shivamogga, the Home District of Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa.

Vehicles have been lined up due to protests by the Banjara community. Protests were held by Lakshmipura Thaanda, Hosahalli and Mandenakoppa Thaanda.
