Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday visited JD(S) State president H.D. Kumaraswamy at Apollo Hospitals on Bannerghatta Road and enquired about his health.
Kumaraswamy, who underwent a valve replacement surgery recently, is recuperating in hospital.
The Chief Minister also spoke to Kumaraswamy’s wife Anita. The doctors attending on Kumaraswamy updated the chief minister about Kumaraswamy’s health and the treatment being given to him. Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar and Social Welfare Minister H. Anjaneya accompanied the Chief Minister on the visit.
Earlier, the chief minister visited Tumkur district and also visited Solar power plant set up at Pavagada village. The solar plant is expected to generate 2,000 MW of solar energy by 2018.
The first phase of the plant has already been generating 600 MW of solar energy.
