KPCC President Dr. G. Parameshwar inaugurates M’luru’s Dasara

Mangaluru: KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar inaugurated Mangalore’s Dasara festival at Kudroli Temple here on Thursday September 28.

“Visionaries like Bramahashree Narayana Guru, Basavanna have sacrificed their lives to abolish the caste system in the country. While imbibing their ideology even we have to work for the betterment of the society” Dr G Parameshwar told the huge gathering at the inauguration. He went on to say, “With ithe iintention of bringing equality in society spiritual leaders and saints have formed different faiths. But still the existence of caste system is a painful thing”

He also said that the contribution of vveteran leader B Janardhana Poojary was immense to society. Through his straight forwardness and transparency Poojary has reached great heights in the nation’s polity and society. He is a role model for m for all politicians, because of his progressive ideas and actions.

B Janardhana Poojary was chief guest, Billawa Mahamandala president Jaya C Suvarna presided.

State minister UT Khader, MLC Ivan D Souza, Mayor Kavitha Sanil and others were present during the occasion.
