Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed his dedication to embracing the caste census report during a conversation with the media following his participation in a motivational event.

Kantharaju served as the Chairman of the Backward Classes Commission during my tenure when the caste survey was conducted. However, when he submitted the report, neither the former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy nor his successors, Yediyurappa or Basavaraj Bommai, acknowledged it. Presently, they have conveyed their intention to submit the report in November or December. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah mentioned that the report would be accepted when it is officially presented.

The matter will be determined by the party’s central leadership. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inquired if there were discussions among all the MLAs about the possibility of replacing ministers after a 30-month tenure and providing an opportunity to new individuals. He emphasized that a decision on this issue will be made by the party’s central leadership.
