Bengaluru: Kannada and Culture minister CT Ravi compared a few groups agitating for the cause of Kannada language to the Tukude gang. “They are working like Tukde gang instead of working for the real causes,” the minister said.
Tukde gang is the word floated by the pro-Hindu organisations against the student leaders of the JNU, New Delhi.
“We shall love our mother tongue. But we shall not become the fascist forces. We need to respect the feelings of all the people. India is a country with a lot of diversities,” he stated.
“A few organisations in the state are not thinking from the national interest and are trying to cause unrest in the society. People shall teach a lesson to them,” he opined.
