Bengaluru: AICC secretary, former minister and MLA, Satish Jarakiholi created an embarrassing situation for the JDS-Congress coalition government by supporting the BJP’s allegations that it is yet to take off.
“This government has not yet taken off. It is still crawling,” he said while speaking to reporters in the city.
“When Siddaramaiah was the Chief Minister, all the constituencies were flooded with government grants. But now, no MLA is getting government grants. Developmental works have stopped,” he alleged.
“I am optimistic that one day this government will take off,” he added.
He then expressed confidence that once Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy understands the government machinery, he will correct the errors. “I think he needs some more time to understand the government machinery,” he said.
