State govt orders probe into more projects launched by coalition govt

Bengaluru: The state government ordered investigations into more projects launched by the previous Congress government and the JDS-Congress coalition government. This time projects taken up by the departments that were headed by Krishna Bairegowda and KJ George are selected for the investigation.

According to the government sources, the state government ordered an investigation into Krishi Bhagya scheme and the Farm Pond projects. These projects were implemented when Krishna Bairegowda was the agriculture minister. Other schemes which will be investigated include garbage disposal, procurement of garbage disposal trucks, selection of stone quarries for the garbage disposal and garbage contract.
