Bengaluru: Karnataka DG and IGP Praveen Sood has said that very soon the state will be made ‘Drugs-free state’.
Addressing the reporters, Sood said that several steps have been taken to curb drug menace in the Bengaluru city and cache of narotics have been seized.
“IGPs and SPs have bee asked to measures to curb the drug menace in their jurisdictions,” he said adding that the crackdown on the drug mafia needs to be persistent.
He said that discussions have been held on how to stop the entry of drugs from borders of the state and the result of all measures taken by the police department to curb the drug menace will be seen soon.
