Bengaluru: The residence of Chief Minister of Karnataka became a witness to emotional and heartbreaking stories of commoners at the Janatha Darshan programme on September 1. Pregnant women, specially abled, widows and many other economically and socially affected people put forth their problems orally and with documents to CM Kumaraswamy.
CM Kumaraswamy began his programme at 12.10 pm and stretched until 10 at night. Hundreds of people flowed in to address their issues.

A woman from Shira named Nagamani expressed the problems that she faced during the time of pregnancy at the hospital, where the hospital had hiked the bill. She was provided Rs. 2 lakh cheque in hand. Similarly, an 11-year boy named Lohith was assured of the fulfilment of expenses for his blood cancer treatment. He was then granted Rs. 10,000 cheque. A woman named Nagamani from Chikkaballapur district was assured of payment towards the injection cost for her breast cancer treatment.
