The Deputy Commissioner of Police for Bengaluru (South) confirmed that the hotels received bomb threats.Responding promptly, the police dispatched bomb squads and sniffer dogs to conduct thorough searches at the hotels, including the five-star Oterra hotel.

In a statement to a news agency, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Bengaluru confirmed the incident, stating, “We received a bomb threat via email targeting three well-known hotels in the city, including The Oterra. Our teams, including the Bomb Squad and Police, are currently conducting extensive searches at The Oterra hotel.”

This  incident follows closely after a similar threat nearly seven weeks ago when a private school in Bengaluru Urban district received an ominous email. The email, addressed to the principal of Treamis School in Hulimangala, claimed the presence of explosives planted beneath desks and benches. Authorities swiftly mobilized, conducting a meticulous three-hour search operation, ultimately determining the threat to be a hoax.
