Bengaluru: The police have formed three special teams, including a women’s squad, to nab the miscreant who entered the hostel of Maharani’s Arts, Commerce and Management College for Women, situated on Seshadri Road, at night and fled with students’ innerwear.
Hostel management filed a complaint with High Grounds Police on Monday saying an unidentified man was frequenting the premises at the dead of night, moving around wearing the innerwear kept by girl students for drying and walking away with them.
The police have printed some photos of the suspect and sent the copies to other police stations in the city. The police suspect that miscreant was not an outsider but someone who lives nearby.
The police said the suspect was last seen barging into the hostel on February 12 but the hostel management has filed a complaint now.
