Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old girl was fatally mowed down by an earthmover being used for rejuvenation of a lake at Mahadevapura on Saturday.
The police have identified the deceased as Anusha, the daughter of Hanumanthaiah and Lakshmi Devi, labourers from Kolar who were working at the site. The driver was allegedly drunk and fled when the workers raised an alarm. Mahadevapura police have registered a case.
