The tragic event unfolded at 11:30 last night, shortly after the family had returned from attending a wedding in Channapatana. As the family began unloading luggage from the car upon their return, the routine activities commenced. Unbeknownst to her father, the one-and-a-half-year-old toddler, Shaiza Jannat, followed him and stood near the car’s door.

Tragically, as the father proceeded to move the car forward, he was unaware of the child’s presence, leading to her being fatally crushed by the vehicle. Despite the swift efforts of locals to rescue her and transport her to the hospital, Shaiza Jannat succumbed to her injuries.
