Tumakuru: A BJP worker was found murdered near Revanasiddeshwara Hill near H Muddenahalli Tanda near Tiptur on Friday, November 11.
Tippesh (35) from Magenahalli is the deceased. It looks like miscreants had dropped a boulder on his head and killed him. Tippesh’s murder has come as a surprise to the villagers as it is said that he had no enmity or rivalry with anyone.
It is gathered that Tippesh was on his way back from the wedding and reception of a relative at Revanasiddeshwara Hill on Thursday night when he was done to death.
Honnavalli police visited the spot and looked into the matter. Deputy superintendent of police, Venugopal, and circle inspector, Ramesh visited the spot along with the canine squad and finger print experts.
