Car Found Burnt with Three Charred Bodies

Tumakur: A harrowing incident unfolded near Tumkur as a burnt car, housing three charred bodies, was discovered in the vicinity of Kuchchangi Lake in Kora hobli, Tumkur taluk on Friday.

The grisly scene revealed three bodies so severely burnt that identification became an immediate challenge. The vehicle, originating from Dakshina Kannada district, was completely engulfed in flames, leaving no trace of its former state.

The shocking discovery emerged when a passer by stumbled upon the scene at the lake. Senior police officials, including Ashok KV, SP Mariappa, and DVSP Chandrasekhar, descended upon the location to investigate the grim occurrence. Utilizing resources such as the dog squad and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team, authorities meticulously combed through the site for clues.

Ascertaining the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident, law enforcement officials have launched a thorough investigation, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for answers. A case has been officially registered at Kora Police Station, marking the commencement of efforts to unravel the mystery behind the charred remains found in the car.

According to information the dead bodies are identified as Ibrahim and Issak, natives of Belthangady in DK district.
