Tumakuru: Former Congress MLA Rajanna, who had earlier criticized and mocked Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwar as ‘Zero Traffic Minister’, has now taken a jibe at Public Works Department (PWD) Minister H D Revanna, calling him “Raavana”, the ten headed demon king.

Speaking to media, here on Sunday, July 14, he said, “The current crisis that the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition is facing is because of Revanna. He has a habit of interfering in the matters of other ministries. His father, former prime minister and JDS Supremo H D Deve Gowda should have named him ‘Raavana’. The ministers in the state coalition have ran away because of his intolerable attitude and deeds. He acts like a ‘Super CM’ in the coalition.”

Rajanna has said that Revanna’s nature of poking nose in the matters of each and every ministry had even troubled the Congress leaders and MLAs. This is the reason why they turned rebels.

Meanwhile, he has opined that the rebel MLAs who have maintained distance from the state coalition and have decided to break the relation would never come back.
