Tumakuru: Former Rajya Sabha Member Dr. K. R Prabhakar Kore who is also the m President of KLE Educational Institution said, “Lingaikya Pujya Of Siddhaganga Dr. Shivakumara Maha Swamiji is a gem, much more than a Bharat Ratna. He should have been awarded the Bharat Ratna. But it is the misfortune of all of us that the Government did not recognise him,” he said.
He was speaking at the Siddaganga Matha on Saturday April 1. He was attending the 116th birth anniversary celebrations of Shivakumara Swamiji and Guruvandana Mahotsava. “Dr. Sri Shivakumara Swamiji is the great light of India. The great humanist who transcended caste and creed and was the pioneer of the age by bringing about a social revolution through his silent dasoha. It is my responsibility socially to honour him.”and
I feel blessed on the occasion of the birth anniversary of such a saint, he expressed.
